Collector-Corner Pillar of the Community 872 Posts	Posted 03/29/2014 3:47 pm yeah ALL but one of the 1972 DDO year looks like some one made the date out of Play-doh clay. It looks thick and undefined. I have 23 of 42 raw 1972 DDO 103's here let me see if I can show a quick example. The MD on the 1972 you have is a classic. There are some you will see 2,3 or 4 different steps in the MD, which is cool to see. With the "true MD" having gone away, these, in time, may be a good overall representation of MD, and might be worth a few bucks once the copper examples and non-incused examples are all gone. Collector-Corner Pillar of the Community 872 Posts	Posted 03/29/2014 4:42 pm I have over 10,000 examples of the 1972 year and some of them can produce really wild Machine Doubling ( MD ) Here are 2 bizzare ones. One almosy completely removes the top off a 1972, While the other - if you look REAL CLOSE You will see 3-4 steps of the MD.
