That's Machine Doubling, pretty dramatic and cool. Not triple struck but still a keeper in my books.

flinflon john...I almost looks like a triple strike with I look at it...strange.

the same triple leveling appears on the stem and the one in one cent,love that program by the way!

Its a keeper. I think you have 2 types of doubling, machine and ejection. The curled up edges in the date show ejection doubling. IMO

with pennyman... I have a 1999 that has that same effect and it's a combination of those same 2 types of doubling. Sure would like to have a '98 to go with it though... time to hit the rolls again!
