Unable to identify any of these, looked at online resources, got nowhere! Probably not ancient but any pointers would be very welcome. Coin 125mm 11.17g I was told that this was originally worth 5000 rupees and the smaller ones were 4000 rupees. I don't think that I believed him! All coins have mint marks along the edge. I don't have the references handy, but at a quick glance...
Your first coin is:
India, Mughal Empire, Aurangzeb (AH 1068-1118 / 1658-1707 CE) AR Rupee. Itawa, AH 1112, Regnal Year 44.
Your second coin is:
TBD
Your third coin is:
India, Mughal Empire, Shah Alam II, (AH 1173-1221 / 1759-1806 CE) AR Rupee. (Mint TBD) AH 1203 / RY 31.
Your fourth coin is:
India, Princely States, Bundi, Raghubir Singh (VS 1946-1984 / 1889-1927 CE), in the name of Edward VII Emperor. AR Rupee, dated VS 1966 (1909 CE). Cf. Y #14.
Your fifth coin is:
TBD

Thanks Sam, it helps a lot. He did go on about one of them being Sultan. I did write to CoinIndia.com but not heard back.

Well, I can assure you that none of these coins was issued by a "sultan" nor are they ancient. The 5000 & 4000 rupee denomination claim is also incorrect. These are one rupee denominations each, based on the weights posted by you. The seller's tall tales remind me of characters out of a 19th century travelog or perhaps a Monty Python skit.

Don't worry, I didn't believe the denominations to begin with, I did enjoy picking out the coins just based on whether I liked the look of them. I didn't think any of them were ancient in the Roman/Greek sense. Just a nice souvenir of my trip. Are you any good at iding copper?

Indian copper? That's not easy but I can give it a try. I'm much better with Greek and Roman copper.

Not 100% certain but think 5th Coin is Mewar (Chittor Mint)

Thank you andyg, is there anywhere I can look for the mintmarks? I didn't photograph them, but there are marks around the edges of the coins.

They are not mintmarks - but contemporary test marks (Shroff marks) placed to test that the metal of coin was good silver.

There are cut marks, but there are also stamps. I will try and post some later.
