Can banks logon to other branches in their network to see what coinage is available or do they need to call around to track down the Ike's?
I've never had luck even getting a clad half from my credit union (tried multiple branches) so I use them as my dump bank...

I was stunned when she said there was 119 ikes in one other branch. More stunned when she offered to have them sent to her branch which is 3 miles from my home. I will be ready to bring the $119 paper dollars to her at the call. Best to hope for is an error or .400 Ike OR peg leg, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1976 type(2), 1977, 1978. Not looking for a Morgan or Peace or ASE. No one could be that lucky. |

Ms Susan did not call today about the 119 Ikes coins. Yesterday I was hoping for delivery to her branch, 7-17-2014. I have been pondering the thought that maybe her institution does not leave Eisenhower dollars with the individual tellers, nor the individual branches. I am coming to think this is the way they deposit them back to the FED This Credit Union has now in inventory 119 Ikes. Believe they might hold all Ikes until they get 1000 then send to FED. If this is true, maybe I can get 'em as they naturally build up.  |

Sincerely I was hoping she would have called me today. So this is my way of "nudging" her with out CALLING her. Calling is sometimes an intrusion, but email can be both personal a non intrusion. I was thrilled to see her email address on her business card

All I want for Christmas is my bags of  All these Ikes at the FED.  2:03 PM here.
No call or email from her yet today regarding the 119 COINS.
If no contact today, the plan is to pop in on her Monday.

i got bad news, the bank I have been waiting on called me just before saying they have my box of dollar coins in, I said box thats not what I want, I said I am waiting on a bag the boxes are president coins and suzies, he said thats all we can I get , I said I'm sorry I dont want that, I am looking for a bag with ikes in it, he said (basically) its not going to happen..well thats a low blow, anyways I will continue to try other locations, best of luck to the rest of ya.....

Coins========== I personally believe this is an on going battle. I got my fair share of bags from my original source. But zero for the last 9-11 weeks, even though she said I would get some some soon enough. That's why I started going to CREDIT UNIONS. The best thing is to get at least 2 sources so that when one quits, you have another to back your on going needs. Now for the devil in the possibilities. What if source two gets me 2 bags ($2,000) and about the same time === source one gets me 1 bag ($1,000) I will make it happen, but Checking account balance OUCH |

It would take me at least 4 hours before I even tore open my first bag, Why? because the minute I walk in, this is going to happen.....
