Marks are symmetrical on both sides-match up perfectly-something clamped onto it I guess

Is that all you do here all day? Check everyone's posts and point out what they are or aren't doing wrong? Like how you so quickly and astutely pointed out my '72 ike post on modern coin forum that it was the same pics as my other post? Like no kidding dude! Get a life and find something constructive to do other than trolling

That's exactly what I thought, coop. That's a pretty severe "pinch".
A spender.

Not disagreeing or anything but there are faded spots that don't seem uniform on the coin like the um in unum, bus in pluribus, the A in America and curve in R while the rest of the wording is defined. I don't know if this is worth considering at all. I am not nearly as familiar with mechanical striking errors as I would like to be unfortunately.

Struck errors can affect one or several areas of a coin. This coin does appear to be affect in certain areas, but in this case it is still not a keeper in my book. A very large portion of the devices need to be missing to make it a premium coin. On this coin will the damage on it, the price is what it says on the reverse. A coin scratch on the devices will drop the grade instantly. A real strong one will make it a cull. But I appreciate your question as not only you benefit from the answers. Many others read and don't comment.
