Can't tell. What do you think? The '9' looks suspicious to me.

Large date... On the small date the top of the "0" in the date is more aligned with the top of the"7".

Sorry guys, I had a couple of changes. Please look at the new picture on my original post. The nine has a distinct point and it looks like it could be pointing to the 7. Hard to tell.

Still a Large Date.

The "9" typically has a point and is curled more inward.
Coop has some good examples.
On google its easy to find a side by side comparison.

I do see the point on the 9, but it's from damage.
When you look at the 7's top stroke and length below the "0", it's obviously a large date
It's not just one thing, but several details to confirm a small date.

Yup the thing that catches my eye the most when I look at these are where the loop of the 9 is pointing on the 7.

It makes it easier if you just concentrate on the 7, period.
It's position and also the non shelf like horizontal bar.
