Question  . Where did you purchase (locate) most of your coins for this set. I live in a remote area, and coin shows, shops, etc. are not a viable solution. Do you have a favorite online source? Thanks. |

And I would be remiss if I did not mention my CCF Family from which I have picked up a few as well! Most recently from nolawyer (Luke)...for my replacement (downsized) War Nickel in tomorrow's Type Nickel posting.  awesome so far! I can't wait to check back every day! God I love that S3C! I remember when you first posted it, I have the same date, same metal alignment (remember, I had to ask you because I wasn't sure if that was correct) but mines only a lowly, darkish AU.... Which is not much to look at compared to yours that's dripping and a great strike! What did yours grade at again ? I absolutely love it, the details are just drop dead stunning! Especially for such a tiny coin.... Uugh... I feel like I'm cheating on mine, lol. And as a toner lover of course the '45 H10C is just .... But something about that S3C just draws me in! Even without the metal alignment... |

Nathan, my 3CS is graded through PCGS as MS63 (CAC). It is one of my favorites as well!  Edited by oih82w8

That's what I thought but I couldn't remember for sure. Ya it's definitely one to love... It's just stunning. I love these tiny things, they're definitely pretty unique. I'm just happy mine turned out to be the metal alignment too, lol.. I had no idea when I bought it and neither did the seller, lol, actually I had no idea until you posted this one so thanks again, lol.
And it helps that I got a slamming deal for mine as well, through out a lowballish offer (on craigslist of all places... I've got more than a handful of great deals on there once I weed through the crap, lol) that was countered for a bit over double my offer, and I didn't respond for two days (not purposely, I was just busy) but it worked out because he called and accepted my $50 offer ;) actually, now that I think about it that may have been the absolute first coin I bought after inheriting the family collection.... Huh... I never realized that before, lol. But anyways I'm rambling, lol long day , I need bed.... Anxiously awaiting tomorrow's show!
