The nose looks like contact marks. There is no doubled die that involves the outside edge of the bust that I know of. Circulation is an enemy of coins. Report this Post to the Staff
Slamnbass Pillar of the Community United States 3644 Posts	Posted 04/22/2014 04:44 am No denting in that rim at all from what I can see will get better pics later today will also get better ones of nose because I kinda thought that looked odd too but I can't see any gouging or nicks there that would explain it but looks odd and I couldn't find any double die referencing it either? Collector-Corner Pillar of the Community 872 Posts	Posted 04/22/2014 10:56 am I don't see a DDO or Cud. maybe some rim denting, and a possible break in the rim at "Unum", but thats all I can see. If its a DDO, where are you seeing it, because the pics of his nose isn't going to show us much. Those are definately bag marks or Post Mint Damage ( PMD). Keep digging ! Â Â Â = ) On wheats keep an eye out for egg shaped dots on the Reverse (between the EPU) and a really thick bottom part of the "L" in PLURIBUS.... it may net a DDR. Report this Post to the Staff
