Wow a German Ike!!! (or is that Eich?) I've wound up with much older German coins in my collection not because I intentionally collect Germany (or "German States,") but because they intersect another theme in my collection. TRIGGER WARNING: many of them are much more worn than what has been posted! Members who may be offended or disgusted by viewing worn or damaged coins should avoid my posts! I will start gently with this 1698 batzen (4 kreuzer) of the Bishopric of Bamberg:

A much earlier coin of the Bisopric of Bamberg, this 1512 half schilling features the wife of the guy on the last coin I posted.   Over her right shoulder the engraver has put a partial view of the Bamberg cathedral where they are both buried:
