SsuperDdave Moderator United States 23522 Posts	Posted 04/30/2014 1:15 pm I lean towards XF45 for this one - there's a bit too much missing detail on the reverse, and no indication strike quality was involved. The surfaces seem a bit questionable in the (excellent) images, but it's a look which circulated coinage can have if it acquired some of that toning while still in circulation. This isn't a process we're used to with modern clad coinage, but silver toning while in circulation wasn't uncommon. Still an added-value issue either way - it's probably a $75 coin even as a cleaned XF, double that for a righteous AU50. Report this Post to the Staff
