Yep, you read the title right; I found a 1995 DDO in a brinks box last night!

At first I was like , then when it sank in, I was like

I've been wanting to find one of these '95 DDO's for a long time, and now I have one! To me, roll searching is like Christmas every day.

Dance fruit, dance!

Here's the pics!

Wow that's awesome! Congrats. This is the kind of story that makes me push on when I don't find anything worthwhile in a box.

When you find the doubled dies, it then hits you; "I've been looking too hard at other coins!"

Congratulations on your find.

Awesome! Enjoy the feeling! Smile again once you've looked at the running rate posted by the TPSs.

Coop - Yes. Very much the case. I took a look at a 55, 72, 83 and 95 the other day at a local coin shop. Seeing them in your hand gives greater perspective on what you should be looking for (and reduces eye fatigue).

I've bought a lot of doubled dies because you knew know when one will come under your glass. Some I've bought for $25 years ago are now $100+ coin now. Demand for a great doubled die will continue to go up for the lower priced examples. Seems like the real high dollar ones go up very slowly.
