I've been doing a lot of work on my custom gold 7070 album. It includes 2 7070 gold pages, one of them highly modified as you can see(certainly not professionally, but it works for me right now) I have 5 certified coins velcroed to my front cover, and I have enough room in the album to eventually included certified coins velcroed to the back cover. Basically I have motto and no motto examples of each major type, both types of $3 gold coins, the type 2 gold dollar, classic head types, a pre-1834 type half eagle type, $1 and $2.5 classic commemoratives and a pre US mint escudo piece(to represent gold that circulated in the US before the establishment of the mint). I also like the escudo especially since the back reminds me of pirate treasure!! rrrrrrrrrr... I still have a ways to go, as I plan to eventually add a draped bust half eagle and a type 2 double eagle, and I am aiming to get 1 half eagle from all of the US mints(the Liberty Half Eagle is the only coin to have been minted with ALL of the US mints, so it is the perfect coin to achieve a mint location type set). Has anyone else worked on a custom 7070 gold set? Also, any ideas of additional material to add? Or additional ways to customize the set? thanks! May I be the first to say what an absolutely spectacular Gold set that is My favorites are the 1810 Large Date Half Eagle and the 8 Escudos. Also love the 1834 Half eagle, the $3 Princess and pretty much every other gold coin lol. You're doing really well, not that I can say much with my huge collection which is all of 4 gold coins

What a superb collection of gold coins. My personal favorite is the 1787 8 escudos. A $4 gold stella would be a nice addition to your excellent set

I don't know much about all these coins but they are beautiful. What are escudos? Do you have a larger photo of the 1810 people are talking about?
As someone who loves gold, this is very inspiring. I always enjoy your posts.
