Love the checks, I just acquired a 15 check lot that arrived today. Here are a few.  2 Cool Brewery Checks, one is made out for $45,000 and the other is dated 1882.  A check from a Life Insurance company for $20,000 dated 1871, lots of money back then, Edited by jewelcard

These are all nice, but the fish check is definitely the most intriguing! First one I've ever seen -- and even the embossed cancel is fish-shaped! Great contributions, thanks for posting.

It's always rewarding to collect a series of checks that sort of follows a business or person through the years by the checks that have been written.
