TypeCoin971793 Pillar of the Community United States 6370 Posts	Posted 01/14/2015 11:24 pm Got my audition results back. Made 2nd chair all-state band! The director for this band is a fellow by the name of Michael Colburn, who, until last year, was the director of the President's Own Marine Band. He has since retired. He also plays euphonium like I do. Should make for quite the interesting experience. I also got some hefty merit scholarship offers from OSU and Embry-Riddle. I don't think I could have picked a better school for my wants and needs. There is a lot to do, and lots of resources to do those things, such as 3-D printers [Hint #8] with which I can print just about anything I want. The band is fun, and everyone is very friendly.
