Quote: "A proof is a proof. What kind of a proof? It's a proof. A proof is a proof. And when you have a good proof, it's because it's proven."
That was good.
Back in time, I searched for the Proof SML and Britannia, and asked about them in the some Coin shop. At the counter was wife of the owner, and for my question brought me BU coins. When I told her that this not a "proof" but BU, she told me, that : "Don't you want to say, that these fakes? They genuine, and here is the proof" . With these words she shown me the COAs....... (do not remember, but Britannia was in Blister card, and SML - some 3-rd party edition with the COA).

The problem with that is, who controls the "proof" as far as ufo are concerned the "proof" has been covered up for many many years and anyone who speaks up about it is ridiculed and or made to look like a idiot so people dont speak out since it could affect your career and many other things in your life.
But even with all that there are the brave ones do tell their experiences, they range from abduction accounts to sightings from multiple people at the same time . police officers/ air force / regular people , the info is out there but the media and those who control it do a good job in keeping it form being a serious subject , when it is one of if not the most important subject of our time.
Wow, interesting discussion on UFO's, sorry guys I didn't mean to derail the conversation.
News from J&M coins they shipped my Ghost Bride coins. Now I need to cancel my shopping channel order that also shipped. They sent me an email apology. I find them very sloppy. No email to confirm my order and no shipping email either. Had I not called to find out about my order, I'd be in the dark. The Coin Shoppe, Colonial Acres and GAtewest have superior communication and are very professional. Now whatever, I choose I'm out $21.00 on shipping both ways. This really stinks! I guess from now on I stick with the tried and true.
Getting back to the coin... has anyone received a COA over 5000 yet? Just wondering since coin stores seem to have restocked the coin and we still dont know how many are in clam shells vers CP stamp coin sets.
@ Northern you meantioned dealers have restocked, so I decided to check out prices. Most have a limit to 1-2 coins, here's the shocker,J&M coins are selling at $50.ea. they only show having 3 left. I thought Talisman was the only one selling at $50-$62 per coin. I never expected a Canadian dealer to reach these prices. GAtewest is selling 1 only @$40, while C Acres is at $40. Bromberg is showing sold out at his store. I'm just baffled, I guess it just shows what good marketing can do. My one ebay ad has over 225 views. It shows people Re at least curious, if not interested in this coin.
Any predictions, if it will be sitting in the junk drawer next June ? Meaning people will have lost.interest in the coin.
I saw a listing on ebay a couple of days ago and the seller displayed his COA and it was above 5,000. Unfortunately I don't have a link to the listing but I am 100% sure that the COA # was above 5,000, somewhere near the 5,815 mark.
The subject for this is neat - my wife and I were married at the Algonquin resort and there's a ghost bride too. We stayed in the room below hers and I was woken during the night to see her above me (or something, but I'm sticking to my story) . I have no interest in NCLT of course.
I found a new coin forum: moderncoins.com forum, they are discussing the coin. Many people are impressed by it, and some posted a very good you tube video of it. The guy in the video has 2 clamshell varieties in the 900's, 1 he said is 987. He bought a total of 12, he's hoping it will be like Dino 1 or birds coins. A comment on the forum: " it's Canada's answer to the Zombuck series, I thought it hilarious. The comparison never even occurred to me. Sorry I didn't post a link to the modern coin forum, I don't know how to. Do check it, and the video out. Maybe a more savy poster can post the links, for others to enjoy.
Hey Nu moosey, thanks, could you post the link to the haunted bride coin discussion, I can't find it on their menu. I forgot to book mark it. You are so helpful. Hopefully in the future I will learn how to post links. I'm not computer savy, and they terrified me in the late eighties, when I needed to take a computer program course for my college degree. I only know the basics, and do everything from my iPhone.
Wow Nu moosey, you work fast it like you're turbo powered! I didn't have time to respond!, I can't spell today drats! I'm finding discussion on this coin interesting. I'm waiting for my clamshell versions to arrive. I want to compare to the CP version I have. Currently it seems to me the clamshell version looks better. The photos I see of the clamshell ones look nicer than, how my CP one looks. I think it's because it's not stuck behind plastic in a folder. Meaning you can hold it in you hand, tilting it as you wish, with no plastic over the capsule. The coins in the video look much nicer than my carded version. What do others prefer the carded or the clamshell version and why? Maybe I'm being too picky!
I do love the stamps though, I'm going to grab a few sets! I'd like to hear opinions on the video!
