Interesting COA number. I think early MC orders should have a crack at the lowest COA numbers on all releases instead of being random. Who knows it would probably increase MC membership. ;)

That is an awesome COA# on your coin R4mn33k, I love getting low numbers on my coins as well! A COA# of 666 would be super cool to own especially for this coin in particular.

I've been reading several online articles regarding the haunted Canada series. It appears it's going to be a Multi year release, with unreleased images to be added.

I was just looking at the ebay ads for this coin. There are 25 sold coins. The highest price is for the RCM version at $99. Followed by the other sales of $38 - $65, with an average with shipping of $60. I found the Solds by looking at BIN ads, which showed how many were sold. I then added up the total. It's strange, these Solds under current listings don't show under Solds . I wonder why this is? So it remains to be seen the future of the coin & series by fall time. Anyone care to make any predictions, being a week after official launch ?

Having an auction end around lunchtime ET is not smart. And since the coin is still available as part of the gift set that can be bought from CanadaPost with free delivery, current sale prices are not reflective of any potential future value.

Ok well I bought 3 from Canada post, I don't really like the coin but there "might" be some potential for it to increase in value but I wont hold my breath , I can always give them away for Christmas gifts if the coin falls flat on its face like I suspect it will once all the hype has died down just like most of the other mints stuff.

The price of the coin is certainly not going up anytime soon as long as Canada Post have stock. But if even if they sell out, how much would the sell out be driven by actual demand for the coin or people just hoarding the coin?

I ended up buying 2 from CP...1 for myself & 1 for my granddaughter for her birthday. They make a nice gift and aren't too expensive with no shipping charge. I'm hoping it gets her interested in collecting and she decides to collect the rest of the series.

I'm more interested in getting the other images, which I think are cool. I think it will take a year to see where this series goes in value, much like the Dino coin. It takes time for word to spread to the serious collector and to others collecting ghost themed items. A week is way to short a period to make a conclusion. It depends on for how many years they will add coins to this theme. There a number of factors as yet unknown. Just look at zombie themed items, they seem to be the fad currently. Almost anything zombie sells to the younger crowd. This could be the RCM's way of targeting the younger generation into collecting. The price point is reasonable for an entry level collector. I'd like to see what happens to these coins around Christmas time. I don't think summer is a good coin selling time of year anyway. Also to make $10 the coin needs to sell for minimum $65 CAD. Canadians are really hampered by the high shipping costs. There's 2 advantages to the CP set: you get the 5 stamps and being flat, I'd assume cheaper to ship.
