F Details, cleaned and damaged.

Look at the gouges on the both the obverse and reverse.

Even the most conservative grading would not give this coin a problem free grade so the finer aspects of LIBERTY that sees this coin on the cusp of F to VF are really a moot point.

As well you should buddy. There will come a day when fines are no longer commmon.
There was once a time when good and very goods were listed together. Soon VGs and fines will show a difference in price.
I KNOW the Barber dimes well.

I think it may be VF-20 details. Some pretty good gouges on it may get the details grade.

Those scratches you mean? I was looking at my other full "LIBERTY" dimes. I think they are nicer than this one. I have to put one in an air-tight since it is developing rainbow toning it appears. Perhaps how I am storing them? Yes, these are coins I hold on to as oppose to flipping. Some coins I think will be worth more later, I like, or for some reason they are going for much lower I think they are worth. The VF 3 cent nickel I bought of no lawyer will be added to this.

I was wondering about those deep scratches and whether it was a details coin when posting it. Of course I was sidetracked because I think the coin is VF details and not F details.

I don't know, the scratches on the obverse and reverse look pretty deep.
