Trying To ID This 25 Oz Silver Bar - Coin Community Forum

Silver Hunter New Member United States 36 Posts	Posted 06/04/2014 10:03 pm While I was in the coin shop someone brought this in and sold it. After the guy left the owner asked if I wanted it for 50 cents over spot. I could not resist. Anyway I tried searching to see when and where it was made. I had no luck. It kind of looks like yours I think they said it was just from a smelter or refiner. It goes to the minters and jewelers in that form. Nothing overly special about it, with the nice script it seems a shame there is no makers mark but if it was just headed to a mint to be pounded and pressed, or melted further why worry about extra marks.
