If the admin could merge my other topic to this that would be great! I apologize for creating roughly the same topic.

Anyways here are more roman coins I've found hiking once in a while..These coins seems to have been exposed outside rather than being buried deep due to worn out details! Any help would be greatly appreciated! I was thinking of soaking them in distilled water..what do you guys think?

Ill be posting other topics regarding Greek/Phoenician, Byzantine and Islamic finds!

This one looks like it might be Antoninus Pius

I know some of these coins are definitely worn out and sluggish but I thought they might be worth saving if I could clean them...Advice would be appreciated

Soak em all in distilled water for a few weeks, occaisonally changing the water. This might not expose more detail, but it will preserve them a bit better.

If you want to ID the late ones (top and bottom), try going to Tesorillo. The provincials will be harder. the Antoninus Pius is very nice though, a very good find.

Looking closer at them, only the Antoninus Pius is a provincial. Maybe 3rd one is provincial...looks like a Domitian Assarius to me, but maybe too small.

You will learn a lot from cleaning coins, if you have the patience to do it. You have to be slow and careful.

The fourth coin most reminds me of Commodus and the style, unsurprisingly, of the Levantine coast.

Your example looks to be from the Berytos (Beirut) mint, reference SNGCop 105 :

A genuine example below for comparison:
