philadelphian Pillar of the Community United States 3253 Posts	Posted 06/13/2014 11:37 pm Definitely Connecticut, but I think the giveaway for the variety is at about 11:00 on the reverse: a horizontal three-leaved ornament in the legend (called a fleuron, I believe). For 1786, this should be diagnostic for the Q reverse, which is unique to the die pairing Miller 5.9-Q. The sprig fits best for this reverse, as well as the colons after INDE and LIB. So hard, for me, with angled pics and much wear/damage...in hand is easier. @ the op.... with the planchet flaw and corrosion I, personally, would not pay more than $50 raw for it.
