Well worn, but this coin has a beautiful patina...

It is, I believe, the most common of the varieties...with the 5 over inverted 5 (on the 50 cents). Some books refer to it as a 5 over 2.

It looks like it is Overton-111, if so, it is a R-6.

O-111 was listed as R4+ per the BHNC rarity ratings Aug 2004.

I believe this coin is an O-112. Obverse 8, which is the obverse for an O-111, shows an incomplete 1 in the date and your coin has a complete 1 in the date. In this case, it would be an R1.

This is a great looking coin! I also really like these coins circulated.
