1996 Washington Quarter, Unique Finish? Perhaps Matte?

ChefJay New Member United States 10 Posts	Posted 06/21/2014 04:05 am Hello there folks! The 1996 Coin on the right is the coin in question. The other is just for comparison. This coin weighs 5.6_g. My scale doesn't go to hundredths. Has anyone seen this particular finish on a coin? I have seen two like this but I'm not quite sure what the finish is exactly. Maybe matte? I have a few interesting quarters I hope to post today. Any info you all can offer would be great! Thank you! Report this Post to the Staff
