Here is an 1881-S Eagle. What grade would you put on the holder?

So sorry to go off topic but bonedigger, what is the coin you have for your avatar? I saw the same coin in a grab box in france but it had a big clip out of it. As for the coin, I see what looks like a little wear on Liberty's hair but the reverse looks real good.

Based on the image I see, AU-58 or so, but the image is not quite as good as the coin.

It's an Edward I silver penny 1239-1307. Longshanks...

Take Care

Hi Bonedigger,
I'd give it an AU55 based on wear and remaining luster. However, the many small to medium scuff marks should bring the grade down a little. I expect it would grade 50 or 53 at PCGS or NGC.
Rest in Peace

Wow, it has acne. But it has that lack of wear. I'll go with AU-50.

The reverse says 55-58, but the obverse says 50-55.

AU55 in a slab.

Both the coins $5 & $10 were raw antique shop purchases. I know I didn't pay over $350 for both coins, but gold was much lower in 2000 as well...
