Supdog. Have you noticed a decline in readily available quality classic coins? If so, what are some ideas you have for the decline.

Why worry? I see more and more of the classic coins all the time. Why just last weekend at a flea market a dealer was selling 1916D Mercury dimes for $25. Also had a few 1921D Walking Liberty halves for the same price. Lots or rare Silver and Trade dollars. With dealers like that, rare and classic coins will be around for a long time.

jpbone - I have noticed a slowly but surely decline of the availability of Barber coinage at physical stores.
I've asked about it a few sellers, and most said there's just no demand for those, so they don't bother with them, but de facto, it's not easy to find them anymore (assuming you're looking for a specific year/grade).
