I have cleaned one ancient coin, but can't id it, it is bad quality.

Hope you can help me guys.
2r = 3cm
1. pic: it is some head on the pic.
2. pic: no idea.
Sames, that is from material like silver, but I am not sure if roman coins was made from silver in such dimension.

The coin is too worn to make a positive ID.

If its silvery, its probably billon, which is a copper/silver alloy. Its from the 'early' empire - I'm torn between it being Augustus or a later emperor like Elagabalus or Caracalla.

With that Centering mark, and the look of the bust, I'd say an AE Balkan provincial of Caracalla.

Not Silver or Billon.

Hey, guys! Thanks for giving a a try on this heavy worn coin. I will do a bit research later if is Caracalla, sames to be. But the back side is simple unidable.

I leave the coin for several days in a olive oil mix and hope some more detail showing on. The coin is pretty heavy, that was a reason to think it is from silver.
