Only direct purchase from RCM for issue. Get your copy now Oh, well, sounds like cheap ad Depends on the finish, but from the rendering picture, looks like these 2ozers could be nice and affordable versions of "big coins". I've decided to buy only extra exceptional stuff (IMO), so these, if will be offered annually or 2 per year - will collect them.

I was hoping this coin was serialized its 20000 mintage and the mint has serials on like 40k mintages as well.

For serialized coins you would need to print COAs and have some kind of holder for them. All of these are just unnecessary expenses.

I went ahead and ordered one. My rep called me the other day and said I could order up to 5 if I wanted to.

I'm afraid you are right, PacificoinThis is what we have come to in such a short amount of time. I used to look forward to the mint's quarterly releases of a relatively small number of coins. Now I actually resent the humongous monthly new offerings. As many others and myself have stated here in the past, the releasing of SO MANY coins per year has turned off collectors and is killing what used to be an enjoyable hobby. This is exactly what Canada Post has done to modern Canadian philately. I can only hope that the Royal Canadian Mint will get the message and change its direction, but I won't be holding my breath.

I hope my rep's email was accurate...he sent the notice of the coin as well as ordering information. I responded immediately ordering my 2 coins which was replied to just as quickly with an email indicating that my rep was out of the office until July 28th. However, the email indicated that he put aside enough stock to ensure he would meet demand of his clients. I sure hope so!

Quote: About 3700ish left... Means nothing with a 20k mintage , as some already went to dealers, some may not have been made yet, plus we don't even know if its actually true , quite easy to manipulate that figure

With this coin is more complex. The coin is not yet on the website for public access, but only 3700 left from the 20000? Sells well.
If significant portion went to dealers and Canada Post, means will never be offered for $200, but more. Nowdays CA has 100for100 on sale for $109. People, who will buy from dealer or CP, will want to resell it with profit - for more higher price.....

Quote:It is available for public at RCM for a few days already and since yesterday on CP website too. That's correct. Didn't see it previously. The coin shown not encapsulated in the box - I hope it just image purposes. And for $200 coin the RCM could give some wood in the box. But the artwork is creative.
