noahs-numismatics Pillar of the Community Canada 3167 Posts	Posted 07/26/2014 10:30 am Recently I had the privileged of travelling down to Oregon, and while there I went to my first `real` coin shop. Basically it was run by an nice older gentleman who was very passionate about his coins. He had a massive inventory of US coins which he was more than willing to show me. In reality, is was mind-boggling how many coins he had in such a small store. I even got to see a 1796 quarter! So many great coins to choose from it was hard to pick just one! I was a great experience, and I can see how coin collecting came to be a well known hobby! I hope that in the future, shops like this will still be running with a new generation at the helm. Don't know why but so many coin shops just hire people that know nothing about coins. Yours sounds like a great place. Report this Post to the Staff
