I found this coin today and the edge reeding has a line that goes all the way around the middle of it. You can clearly see it with the naked eye. I wanted to know if this is an error and if so how/why did it happen? Thanks, and here are pics!

That coin is a proof which normally has very strong sharp reeding. Unfortunately, you proof has been circulated(impaired) and the reeding has been damaged.
