I was going through my Grandfather's silver dimes yesterday and I found this 1893 O Barber dime in great condition! Only problem is, when you look at about 10 or 11 o'clock on the obverse, see that little bend? I took a picture of it to show you guys. In that condition with that bend, what do you guys think it will be worth? Mark    |

Oh man, this is not in great condition at all, the bend is rather dramatic. To bad about that. Most people would consider this a damaged coin. As a damaged coin most people might consider it to be a hole filler. But the problem with hole fillers is that when you go to try and sell it you still have a damaged coin.

I would think between 5 and 10 dollars would be a fair price, if it were just the bend. But the bend with the Scratches - maybe more like 3 to 5 dollars. It sure is to bad how people treat coins.
