Italy 50 Centesimi The obverse depicts the King of Italy, Victor Emmanuel III. The reverse bears fascist symbology. The Roman numeral denotes how many years the Mussolini regime had been in power. Composition is described as "stainless steel" but since it's not attracted to a magnet, this evidently is a non-ferrous alloy.

I tried to lift a 2 Lire coin with a very strong magnet and it turns out it was just slightly attracted to it. So evidently, it does contain traces of iron. Pretty sure your does too.

Nice to see this thread revived.
Mods, would it be OK to start a similar thread? Maybe for 1945?

This specimen was struck at Stuttgart. The aluminum-bronze alloy was by the following year abandoned in favor of zinc.

To me, the nicest design so far is the reverse of the Manchukuo coins shown on the first page of this thread. I like their symmetry and the fact that the design is busy on both sides (left and right) with nice clear fields towards the center of the coin.
Thanks for sharing.

Huh? There were 10 zloty (as pictured), 5 gr, 2 gr, 1 gr issued in 1939 with that date.
The Germans issued zinc 5 gr and 1 gr also dated 1939, though that happened later.
