I'm hoping it's a double die but I'm not finding a listing for it. The 9 is very wide at the base. The eyelids are way off place. IN looks bold at the north ends of the devices. L in LIBERTY...? It is a worn coin so it may be my imagination too. Let me know what you think. Thx

I don't see this one listed yet in my resources. There is a close one on CONECA. But the west side of the 4 tells me that it is not circulation damage. The extra thickness could not be created from circulation damage. It is a class 6 doubled die. If it were in better condition, I would submit it to coppercoins when they start attributing again.

Thanks Coop,
The 9 is so wide and comparing it to my 44 it just looked like a double. Here's an up down comparison. I wish it were in better shape...thanks for the double confirmation...pretty neat find.

Looking at CONECA, I wonder if this is the DDO-005 which is also the DDR-006...here is a die scratch in the area of their description.

The CONECA 005 is a lot stronger on the devices, except where yours is stronger on the left side of the cross bar. It would have to be a different die/new die number. Get the coin bathed and take some great images. You might want to send to James Wiles to see what he thinks?
