I have to admit, I haven't looked that closely at the stars, as I was more focused on other features. The coin does look quite worn, which would suggest that it was in circulation for quite awhile. Still, the ability for someone to make anything this good, especially years ago, surprises me.....but, still learning. Report this Post to the Staff

The problem is that a lot of fakes today weigh OK and pass the magnet test (including neodymium magnets). Its getting to be a minefield out there ...... Report this Post to the Staff

You will win the case if the seller doesn't refund you. Selling of counterfeits is not permitted. I have an 1876 Indian Head that is fake. The seller refunded me for it. Report this Post to the Staff
