High Desert USType Set

Yep that would do it!

For those who don't know what the High Desert US Type Set is see here:
http://www.pcgs.com/setregistry/oth...ts.aspx?m=66

That set is a double

I believe that Legend Coins and "Laura Sperber" is the main dealer that has been the main buyer for the set. I know she has mentioned many of the coins they have paced in that set in her blog. Finest known by a mile so far. 66 Sets in the PCGS Registry, and all but a few (9) are ranked #1 the rest are all top 3 except one lone ranked set at #4.

My dream collection would be the following and why:

1: Gold ASE and this would top off my ASE

2: 2014 Gold Kennedy and this would top off the set

3: An aureus set of the 12 Caesars. Have had some converstions with my lcs owner who advised that this wouldn't be a bad set to collect. Advised to go for rarity over scarcity.

4: set of Barber coins

5: Complete my Indian head collection.

6: Time to admire and enjoy what I have.

Think about that for a minute.

I'd settle for proof examples of every 19th and 20th-century U.S. coin (type, not specific year or mint mark) in MS65 or above.

Sorry to be a party pooper, but I honestly don't like the idea of just dreaming I suddenly have an amazing coin collection. 95% of the fun is learning and hunting and slowly building. If you really owned a super rare high value coin collection, you'd have likely spent years putting it together and you'd have a sense of accomplishment and pride. It's the same reason I'd rather spend time and money putting together an album rather than just going on ebay and buying a full one with all the coins.

If I just wanted to wish for something ridiculously valuable, I'd wish for a pallet of gold bricks or some Manhattan real estate.
