I am still fairly new to the coin collecting hobby, but I know that NNC is not a reputable grader. I am looking to buy a few coins from a gentleman that consist of many MS67 PL68-69 etc.

If I was to have these regraded, what could I expect them to be returned at from ICCS or CCCS?

Thanks!

Much, much lower. Stay away from NNC graded coins unless you are quite confident in your own grading abilities.

Buy the coin not the slab. Not EVERYTHING in NNC slabs are overgraded by 5 points, but it's a start.

If you find a dealer using the NNC grade number itself as the basis of his/her pricing, just move on, you can't fix stupid.

Much lower than the grade mentioned on the label, and even possibly a Details coin with problems.
I suggest that you buy coins from reputable TPGs, and treat coins in basement slabs like NNC as raw. The "grading" means nothing, and you should't look at the label but look at the coin and see if it's good for the price.

Tryns, by memory (pretty old(er) now, I do not think this to be so.
ACG became someone else I believe.
NNC started from scratch to fool everyone with their grades.
I have the history of most TPG's somewhere tucked away. will look for it and post later

I believe NNC and ACG are two separately owned companies, but they share the exact same grading philosophy.
