Hello All,

IVe got this roman coin which I believe is an Antonius Pius As. I read ANTIONIUS AVG next to the head. REverse standing person S C and on the right looks like I I I or an H and I

Can someone tell me more about this coin? Or give more clue

Best wishes,
Vincent

There where several reverse type with a standing figure, which makes it difficult to pin this coin down to a certain reverse type.

Personally I would try to remove some of the verdigris starting off with a quite soft brush.
The rest of the obverse legend should be mostly legible and some of the reverse legend seems to be close to legible (looking at the right side of it).

Thanks both for your reaction. I've put it in distelled water. It is becoming litle bit cleaner. But it takes some time.Afterwards I make pictures again. Hopefully the lyrics are better then.
