As I mentioned before, these coins might have been exchanged by someone.
Unlikely this set made it out of the mint like that.
But then again, worse things have happened.

Thanks for giving us the best that you could on these.

The planchet flaw on the cent is very interesting and the experts here might feel that a bit of gas trapped in that cent could have caused it to split open like that. But I'm only guessing because I don't have any expertise in these coins, and I can't see any doubling with these pics unfortunately..

If these coins are flawless in their strike and overall surface, then that's great "as specimens".

If these coins are flawless and truly perfect on their surfaces and are "business strikes",..then that would be even more rare. Super high end business strike 08's are very tough indeed.
