It likely won't be on the Mint website (at least not any time soon).
If you really want to see them, go the red flag deals forum and look on page 2817 under normal view - post #42254.
The alternative is to look at the four silver $20 insect coins and imagine them in gold. The set is exactly the same other than 250$ denomination and the 2015 date.

Haha, I think I will save my money on this one. I wanna know the person who came up with this idea because they need to be fired. The RCM has just lost a customer.

My frustration is the mint's policy of not standardizing the bullion content vs the face value. A standard 1 ounce gold coin (GML) is $50. A two ounce coin should then have a face value of $100..... or, if they's established that the $200 NCLT gold coin is 1/2 ounce of fine gold, then these 2 ounce coins should be face value of $800.
They don't stick to any kind of standard what so ever. For $3750/coin they could essentially stick any price on these coins, but they selected $250. What was/is their reasoning on face value?

Quote:The RCM has just lost a customer. Hard to believe, that the customer that will pass over this set, will not buy on April 2015 the next Glass Creature coin, or the next "hot" coin. The Mint just makes money. We didn't expect the 100 units product to be worth $100 per each coin, right? What is the disappointment: that is too expensive to flip or collect? Nothing happened, each item for it's target group, we will just move on.

Any idea that how this golden series affects the market value of silver ones?
Positive? Negative? or nothing

Nice for those that can. I see an error in the Ladybug coin above. Move along, nothing to see here. Another footstool for TaroChan.

This is not actually a terrible collection if you can/willing to afford it. The value is also not as divergent from market price as what gold issues have been in the past. We're looking at approximately 30% over spot for these coins. And with the extremely limited quantity minted, this makes it potentially worthwhile.
What gets me is the utter lack of imagination with this set. Why on earth would anyone want to pay money on something that's essentially already been released?

First, If the poster of the picture is a MC member, they should be careful in what they post. Secondly I have 2 issues with this, other than the fact that it seems like a cash grab by reusing old themes and art.
if you sign up for this, you are in it for the long haul, and you have zero clue what the 5th image will be, perhaps something stupid ala the candy canes (maybe easter eggs..)

Of course he/she's a MC member, otherwise how can he/she has access to the information and picture? Anyway, I don't see any problem.
About the 5th coin, if you don't like it you can cancel the subscription.

BTW I'm not a MC member easy to find on the web,i would be ashamed to be a mc member because the amount of coins they are pumping out. Plus you can get most of them below issue in the secondary market.

I am pretty sure the 5th coin will be an insect or animal, since the first 4 are, and the time next year its being released is when usually these glass animals. Also if they wanted to do non insect, theres candy cane and snowman atm could have done that. Also does this means that the silver series will also come to an end next year?

Quote: Also does this means that the silver series will also come to an end next year? I can guess, that this is the truth. They will issue the same "Glass Creature" (not the Candy) on top of the Gold and Silver coin, by this ending the series. But, the Mint always can start new series with similar elements. Like it was with "Limited edition Coloured Maple" 2001-2007, that ended and got the new birth as "Crystal Raindrop Maple" 2008-2012.

I don't really like very many RCM issues, but this one is very pretty. :) Do you think they have a lay-away plan available? Maybe the mint should get into financing...like autos/trucks over 7/8 years.
