I am about done with my SBA set in MS66 (other than my PR69 proofs) minus the 1979 wide rim, but I have having a tough time finding any 1981 non proofs in higher grades. I see a bunch of ms63s and such but nothing higher. Am I missing something or were they just very low mintages and thus difficult to come by?

Hoping someone could shed some light on the subject, thanks!

The Philly and Denver aren't tough in grades up to Gem and aren't rare in chGem.

The San Francisco is a little tougher even in MS-64 and very tough in Gem.

About 2% of Phillys, 5% of Denvers, and .2% of San Franciscos are Gem.
Time don't fly, it bounds and leaps.
