Quote: Be sure to check the "what our members collect" (see link below) to give a better idea on what your assigned receiver likes to collect oih82w8, do you know if it is possible to revise/update the "what our members collect" post? What I collect has evolved somewhat and I would like to edit my post if I can. Thanks.

Hi: Count me in. I think a new rule should be added to avoid what happened last year. The sender is responsible that the receiver receive the gift. I mean, not asking that everyone use tracked mail but if the receiver unfortunatelly didn't receive the gift, the sender should send another one. Exactly as if it's a transaction in ebay.

I've had my share of randomly receiving after over a month, unfortunately (and, IIRC, the one Secret Santa gift I did get, two years ago, didn't actually arrive until a few days after the official deadline). So it would just be dishonest to ask anyone to send me an extra gift before I could be reasonably sure that the first one really didn't arrive (well, I'd personally never be fully sure, but I suppose I could be sure enough if it doesn't arrive until March). Heck, for all I know, even the gift I didn't get last year was no fault of the sender - apparently my post office was being moved to a different place near that time (and there was no way for the sender to know in advance - even I didn't know until months later).

How many hours do I still have? I'm too busy to decide right now, and won't have another chance until almost nine hours later.

PM sent - almost certainly too late but whatever. (I wanted to ask my parents... who said, angrily, that they're too busy and that it's my decision. Which it is, I suppose )

Santa Likes all his forum members but please slow down on the emails. Here is what Santa's workshop looks like. 1. Confirm each member is qualified. 2. Create a random list. 3. check that the random list does not assign out of country to those who asked for in country only. 4. Randomize those from out of the country. 5 Cut and paste 98 names and address into 98 separate emails 6. Send each of the 98 emails 7. Follow up on bounced email addresses. 8. Answer questions from those who have questions about their assignments. 9. watch for postings of those who receive gifts so their name can be removed from the list. 10. Remove names from the list as items are received and posted. 11. follow up with senders whose parcels were received. 12. Take long winters nap. Patience grasshoppers. Santa is in his cottage working on the list and you will receive information shortly. and those are the 12 days of Christmas / Chanukah / Ramadan / etc.
