Santa
Likes all his forum members but please slow down on the emails.
Here is what Santa's workshop looks like.

1. Confirm each member is qualified.
2. Create a random list.
3. check that the random list does not assign out of country to those who asked for in country only.
4. Randomize those from out of the country.
5 Cut and paste 98 names and address into 98 separate emails
6. Send each of the 98 emails
7. Follow up on bounced email addresses.
8. Answer questions from those who have questions about their assignments.
9. watch for postings of those who receive gifts so their name can be removed from the list.
10. Remove names from the list as items are received and posted.
11. follow up with senders whose parcels were received.
12. Take long winters nap.

Patience grasshoppers. Santa is in his cottage working on the list and you will receive information shortly.

I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say I appreciate the amount of time and effort you put into this every year.

Thank You!

do you know if it is possible to revise/update the "what our members collect" post? What I collect has evolved somewhat and I would like to edit my post if I can. Thanks.

I believe that you need to contact one of the administrators to "update" your list.

It would be highly advisable to update/add your collect desires...my appointee does not have a "what our members collect" input.

Santa,

I think that should be:
Follow up with senders whose parcels were not received.

I would like to say to whomever gets my name. Send whatever you want. It doesn't have to be what I collect. I will greatly appreciate what you send.

Sometimes something off the wall and unrelated is a better gift. Quietly awaiting my assignment I am.

When you receive your gift
please post here.

It is not required that you post a picture or even tell us what you received - but it would be nice.

When you post you have received your gift, your name will be removed from the list and we will be able to track who has not received their gift with out sending numerous emails.

Who will be first to receive their gift

I don't care what someone sends me... this is just fun... my mind raced last night when I saw who I had... and I tried looking up what they might like... and in the end.. I've decided to do something that I will only HOPE they appreciate...

I am already going to make a new "binder" which will have my Santa gifts from one year to the next... as I hope this tradition carries forward for many many happy years!

No gidjit, as you are not supposed to know who is sending you (at least he wants to let you know).

I looked up my recipient on the 'what our members collect' page, which gives me a starting point.
[I tried to post there myself, but I tripped some sort of automated spam filter.]
Is there any way I can search for forum posts made by my recipient, so I can get an idea of which coins he or she has, so I don't give them a duplicate instead of something they want?
This is fun! Thanks!
