Last year I recall getting anxious about the gift I sent as it seemed to take ages to arrive. This year I am slightly more laid back however I just checked and I sent the gift out this year on the 5th of December I sent it registered mail does that slow delivery down?

Registered mail is supposed to be slower because whenever the package exchanges hands it's supposed to be signed for...from what I understand.

I received my gift and was very happy. No pics right now but some very nice canadian bills and a "Wait for me, Daddy" commem Toonie.
As for sending, I just did that today as I wasn't able to until I got back from school. Sorry for the delay! Hopefully it gets up north of the Border in 7 days!

Thanks oih82w8: And of course Murphys law comes into play: I had sent another small gift to a friend in Texas at the same time ( also Registered) MY Texan friend just Skyped me to say thanks.So I guess It won't be too long before the Secret Santa gift I sent is received. Next year I will be even more laid back LOL!

I just wanted to hop on quick to say that I received a package from up north today(postmarked 12/4, so wanted to let Santa know that it arrived safely). Haven't had time to open it today, but double whammy is I received it on my birthday.. So very excited!! I'll update later when work allows me time to be surprised. Thank you!!

I seem to be having trouble with my package. I mailed it yesterday, but tracking says it still hasn't been received by the post office. Does this happen often? Or am I just paranoid?
Just FYI, it is going to Canada.

Package received with a pleasing mix (1907 IHC, 1956 Rosie, 1864 2 cent, 1912 V nickel and a gold-plated 1883 rackateer nickel). Thanks to my SS from Indiana. |
