If sold out, at 300k(which looks likely), many mint options:
Kennedy Birth Set? "Congragulations Set? Graduation Set? Way to go on your 7th DUI set?"Nice job spending all your Smart Phone bill money on KHD's Set"

Speaking of the Denver coin, any idea what is on the bottom of the shield (die clash, crack)?

That would be a significant hit...aka "ding"

I will admit right up front that I have not read every page of this thread so I may not be alone here but I got my set today. I opened it up and found that the reverse proof was mounted about 30 degrees to the right. I did try and gently remove it but it is in there tight. Was hoping to get some advice on what you guys use to remove these if in fact you have. I would guess some of you have just to look at the reverse of the coin. I have to say that I am not impressed with the way they displayed these. I don't want to remove them every time I want to look at the entire coin. Thanks in advance for any help.

Okay so disregard my ignorant post above. I have read now that many of you have removed your capsules so I will find a way. I guess my fingers don't have the strength to get under and pry it up. With all of the issues you guys are seeing, I am going to look these over with 14x triplet.
By the way, barry, what equipment are you using to take those kind of images. Just incredible!

Nice set but the packaging is much larger than pictures portrayed it. $100 for a set was a fair price considering what you pay for other silver options from the mint and these coins really weren't common issues so the price was ok. But if the mint did something like this again in a few years like they do with the ASEs, I wouldn't buy it.

So I spent the last hour checking each coin. First thing I noticed is that these capsules are really in there tight. I had to use a screwdriver to pry them up and then I was able to lift them the rest of the way. None of my coins had any visible flaws even with the triplet but what is unfortunate is there are hairline scratches on the surfaces of two of the capsules that are visible to the naked eye. In addition, the mint did a poor job of removing lint front inside the capsules. It wasn't dust lint but rather these very coarse, short hairs that I found on all but one of the coins.

I'm not sure what to do in that the coins are actually fine but these scratches on the surface of the capsules are noticeable. Would you guys return them or just get some new capsules and change them out yourselves? It would also give me the chance to also blow the hairs off the coins as well. Thoughts?

If the blemishes are not on the coins then your plan would be good..... doesn't hurt to open the capsules and check on the coins. IF the blemishes are on the coins then you just return the coins (for a refund) and reorder since the mint will not send you a replacement.

I just ordered one of the silver four coin sets. I had originally thought about getting one at the 2015 F.U.N. Show, but decided to go ahead and get it. The silver set will compliment the Gold half.

All my issues were seen without ANY magnification...just a bright light.

If I have to resort to 14x mag to see an issue then I would consider the coin acceptable.

Two sets. Spots on the back of the D in the fields. Going back for replacement. packaging debris in the capsules, no big deal. Display board not so good. Going to put one of the sets into a Dansco. Will try to do a dansco page(s) with all 13 2014 varieties together.

There's 13? I'm only counting 9? The 4 in this silver set, the gold one, the 2 unc set, the 2 regular issue. What are the other 4 that I am missing?
