This set is creeping toward the 225k limit. Is anyone thinking if this set will sell out or if the mint will stop production early? They already lowered the mintage by 75k

They still have 55k to go which is a lot of sets. I would not bet against the sales slowing and these just getting shut off..
Next week will be interesting and we will see if that 6k weekly sales continues....I bet not

OK, I got the set, and it is lovely! The Unc D is the least of the four, and I would give it a 68. So I am very happy. I now have all of the 2014 Kennedys. And Jbuck, you are right. The gold needed some more silver around it.

Sales were a bit sluggish last week: 2014 KENNEDY ANNIVERSARY SILVER SET 172,634 11/30/2014 2014 KENNEDY ANNIVERSARY SILVER SET 178,455 12/7/2014 I think it'll take a little while to sell the whole 225k.

Thanks again acloco for your diligence keeping us updated with the mintage figures of the Kennedy anniversary sets. It is a very handy reference.

Anyone break down and buy a single coin from the Kennedy silver set?
I did. I have a collection of silver Kennedy proofs from PCGS in PF69DCAM from 1992-2014 + 1976. So I bought a PCGS 2014P Kennedy PR69DCAM proof to go with my collection. It definitively will be the lowest mintage of the group, giving the 2012 the boot as #1.

Interesting question. Have thought about purchasing some singles, but have been patient while the prices are going down, since the initial introduction.

Barry,
I joined to Community to try to send you this as a direct email, but am blocked because they expect new users are just sending spam. I am not . . . I am looking for help.
My name is Matt Heller, and I'm a graphic designer working for Whitman Publishing. We are getting ready to publish a book for which we would like to have images of the most recent Kennedy 50th Anniversary set coins. Our regular sources for such images (StackBowers, Heritage, etc) don't seem to have the type of images we need, properly identified to match the Mint's packaging/labeling.
Doing some research, I came across your images of the complete set on this Forum/Blog, and I must say, they are excellent! Exactly the type of shot we would need!
I am curious if you would be willing to grant us permission to use the photographs you took in our upcoming book. I don't believe we have any funds available to offer you, so I am in the admittedly embarrassing position of having to ask for "free stuff". As a designer who sees many ploys by big companies to "design something for us for free . . . for the exposure!", I regret not having funds to offer, but I'll at least be honest about it!
Just so you know, I registered to the forum using my personal information, but my work email, to which I would prefer a response (and to confirm that I am legitimately who/what I claim to be), is:
matt (dot) heller (at) whitman (dot) com *** Edited by the Staff to make contact info more difficult to be harvested ***
Again . . . great images! Thanks in advance for your time, and I hope we can get permission!
Matt Heller
