Fastest shipping ever for a us mint product?
I ordered right at the "opening bell" and got a shipping email late yesterday with a tracking number. I just checked the tracking number again and it shows that the package arrived at a facility in my metro area very early this morning and will be delivered by the end of the day. Wow!! I only used 4.95 budget shipping.

That's insane (as in good)! My order was 12:40 yesterday, got the shipping/tracking number before 5PM and that's where it's at at the moment. Very efficient. Lunch Money got "super efficient"!

Ha - mine says due Sat. - glad I'll be home to catch it! Lightning fast, I'd say - no more USPS?

It ships FedEx to your local PO. Your local PO makes final delivery.

People wondering where I obtained the numbers for the first day of sales, I saw them posted on http://www.coinnews.net. Mike Unser who wrote an article on the release of these coins mentions the total this morning in the comments section under his article.

Hm.. 85,670 units sold and approximately 36,100 orders means an average of 2.37 sets per order. I imagined it would be a little higher. We still have today but after today (and possibly Christmas time) who knows how many of the sets will be left. Most orders in my experience are in the first 48 hours so who knows if this will ever sell out. So far doesn't seem terribly likely.

I placed my order around 12 PM Central yesterday (so, an hour or so after the opening bell) and mine still says "Processing". I'm in no rush but am definitely looking forward to these sets.

I ordered as soon as they went on sale yesterday and received an email later yesterday afternoon saying my order was shipped with a tracking number. When I checked the number on FedEx just now, it still says "label created" but doesn't show it as being shipped.

Quote: I have no clue why they differentiated between product limit and mintage...
Too late in the year to create a new item using coins from either set... Not to mention the complaints from collectors who bought the four coin set on the belief that the four unique coins would only be available in this set. Quote: Fastest shipping ever for a us mint product? First time they have ever had more sets on hand the first day of sales than they had orders that first day.

Someone mentioned the clad half set IS the sleeper set? The set was released for a while and laid dormant (I didn't see a separate thread for it on CCF) and now it's sold out right after the 1st day release of the silver set. I'm glad I bought my limit of 5 set.
Like jbuck said, $100/set is the right price, especially for gift.

I'm not sure they're sold out of the clad set; the web site just says "out of stock".
If it is, I'm glad I got mine too!

Would it be worth it to send these into pcgs to get the first strike label and possibly some 70's grades? It says it costs grading fee +$18 per coin that would be an additional $34 per coin + shipping.

If it is, I'm glad I got mine too! It very well may be. I held off on buying that set because I didn't want to pay the shipping. When I bought the silver set I figured may as well get 5 of the clad. I'd bet others did the same.
