Hmmm...I haven't really found anything in a while. I did get a 1964 Kennedy half in change the other day, and have since tossed it into my junk silver collection.

Guy comes in today and tosses a handful of change on my counter and says "I want bills for this". I was annoyed until I spotted the 1964-D quarter in the pile... I almost asked him if he wanted my cable bill or my Visa bill, but I figured all I'd get was a slack-jawed blank stare.

Went through my loose change bucket last night and picked out half a dozen 1981 Australian 20 cent pieces minted in Canada. Nothing too spectacular but I only learned yesterday that some of our 1981 coin production was minted there.

Fished a "loonie" out of someone's change today. Nothing really worth writing home about but I haven't found anything else this week.

A 1944 P Jefferson "War" Nickel mixed in with other change from Costco. The cashier dropped the change into my wife's hand and I grabed it out of her hand before she had a chance to know what happed.

Buffalo nickel, without readable date.

Now this was found in circulation, in my pants pocket.

However, yesterday I made a purchase from my coin dealer, and I had a nickel back in change.

He's such a nice guy, I'm guessing that was the nickel I stuck in my pocket.

Rest in Peace
