I sporadically CRH, usually nickels but also cents, halves (rarely) and quarters. I may average from 1-3 boxes of nickels a week and then nothing for a couple of months.

Anyway over the past six months, I have gotten many boxes of new nickels and cents: 2014 Ds as I live in southern California. I also keep getting new quarters, which is cool because I keep a roll. Just yesterday, I got 10 rolls of the 2013 D Mt. Rushmore, though. I was surprised because I have already gotten the Arches and Shenandoah releases. I have a new 2014 D box of nickels in my office now along with a 1/2 box of cents. I have turned to selling rolls on ebay: not a great profit but a few bucks and maybe someone can enjoy the rolls.

That's not the point, though...sorry to ramble. I was just wondering if any others out there have experienced a higher than usual number of new coins. I deal with Bank of America, and this seems to be happening more. It's not just one branch either. I rotate through about 5 and have noticed it at all of them. It's late in the year. Are they blowing out their stock? Comments? Thoughts?

Have a good one. Thanks.

I have noticed new dimes. I only search 3 different banks for dimes and about 1 of every 4 boxes seems to be new. Nickles I have only seen about 3 boxes in the last 90 and in one of them I found a war nickle hiding amongst the shinny edges.
