Now if I can find the new 1.5oz polar bear and cub in Canada.

Wait for it at CA, like they had previous 1.5oz editions.
I also wait for this coin.

Definitely the best advice to wait for a Canadian seller, it makes it much more simple not dealing with conversion fees and foreign exchange. This is why when selling on ebay I sell in USD. Most of what I purchase on ebay is in US funds even from other Canadian based sellers.

That's good, Pocket_change....but exactly due to these reasons, the few items, that I have / had for sale, I list in CAD.

For those reading the description if they contact me I will send a CAD invoice for equalent so they can save at a least the 2.5% conversion fees. It's very expensive now to buy anything in USD. It was nice when were at par for a little while.

I try and do most of my buying on .ca. However, most Canadian sellers list in USD. I do message them about sending me an equivalent in CAD using bank of Canada rates. Only half are willing to do this. Mainly because they to purchase in USD.

Agree absolutely,
since I list the items on the .ca, (and I want to sell the item), I use the CAD prices to attract the Canadian buyers.
For the US people I reduce the shipping making it lower than actual in the couple of $$ (anyway I take a loss on the coin).

I don't even see the point of having a 1.25 oz. coin. Silver isn't that expensive, and I'm pretty sure that whole numbers of ounces of silver can be afforded by most. Plus, the 0.25 oz wouldn't even make the blanks significantly larger for a better image.

About the weight of 1.25oz.....well, the coin is commissioned, to the customer just wanted probably some "other special weight".
Yes, it doesn't contribute for something, just collectible.
Personally for myself, I think 1oz and 1.5oz series enough for collection. And the capsule - although the difference in the thickness is minimal, but coin might not fit properly to standard H38 airtite, will be bit loose in the capsule for 1.5oz and X-airtite will fit, but too big by itself.

Silver Gold Bull has the 1.5oz polar bear and cub now, but their shipping cost is too high for people like me who place small orders each time.

It is also interesting that there is a new 1/2oz Bald Eagle Silver Coin.

and I just realize that the Mint is SO LAZY! They just flipped the gold gilded eagle coin horizontally, removed the details in the backgound and voila there is our new bullion.

Here is the gold gilded eagle coin (flipped horizontally)..

Interesting news, thank you.
Although will pass over it, will stick to 1.5oz series and some exceptional designs (like wolf).

And looks like, RCM makes really good money on all of these commissioned coins.
