Quote: Sears only uses Canada Post. From Sears.ca: "For as low as $7.95, you can have your ‘soft goods orders, such as apparel and housewares, shipped directly to the address of your choice. Shipping by Sears Canada, Canada Post or UPS." CS rep also said UPS but he got virtually nothing else right so I'm skeptical.

Sears uses CP and UPS , I had an order of 3 coin set shipped through CP and then another order of 3 came through UPS right to my door so I guess its random maybe. They put each coin set in a bubble mailer and then all three bubble mailers where inside another package , so I got 6 bubble mailers I can reuse as well since there wasn't any writing on them just a small sticker.

Did anyone bite on the special 'phone only' offer today (from RCM rep) regarding five of the Big Coins plus a couple other 2014 5oz coins. Mildly curious what the offer was.

I got an email from my rep saying if I subscribe to the 5 remaining big coins, I get a special offer. You have to phone in to find what it is. On the email it shows a couple of 5 0z silver coins, including the Beaver and a maple leaf coin. I assume that is what we will get.

The Mint offers free shipping over $100.
The e-mail I got showed the spirit bear and the leaves 5oz coins. I guess no one called to find out exactly what was offered - I would guess a free 5oz too but that's nothing but a guess.
Seems odd that anyone would pass on buying the 6 coin series but a few months later would decide to buy 5 of the coins. Also would indicated that some subscription orders were cancelled after the loon.

Also would indicated that some subscription orders were cancelled after the loon. I am not surprise people would cancel their subscriptions with the Mint, especially those who read and believed what the Mint have said in their publications, that only 350 sets were available and would came with the deluxe wooden box. Now it seems that as long as people want it they can order the subscription from dealers with added bonus.

Together with their beauty, the sub has absolutely "ugly" price. Their 5oz coins too overpriced. We ready to pay $100 for 1oz coin, this doesn't mean that people will like the linear progression towards 5oz. I believe, most of the people will be interested in the singles, depends on their interest, but not in all coins.

Nice deals, congrats for find, yingyung.
My PO has some selebration / birthday / wedding sets from 2006-2009 , and none of them discounted "Whale stamp and coin" set "Canada Parks" CD Haunted Canada (CP version) ...wandering, why they didn't give at least 10% discount on all of these (no famous 2007 "Birthday" and 2008 "Wedding")

Ask them to check their book and see what discount will be 10% to 75% off.

Take look at this and understand, where all "popular" stuff will be. But anyway, many of us have these coins, and probably some wants to get them. Extremely popular and sought by collectors: 2011 Ural Owl Mongolia 1 oz .999 Silver Coin with Swarovski ElementsNOTE: this looks like real on the picture, but please contact the seller prior to bidding.10hrs left, only 1 bid, USD 249 .... looks like wrong time to sell. My guess, will be under US$400, which is a "robbery" . ***Check and clarify again, and wish you a good luck!*** http://www.ebay.ca/itm/2011-Ural-Ow...em3aa3397c17

The only reason I would even consider biding on that Owl would be to flip for a profit , I don't have any interest in owning, keeping one.
