Oh I called. I inquired on-line twice in the past two weeks and got no response. Called today and it was a complete waste of time. After putting me on hold for 5 minutes, the CS agent told me the item is backordered to Jan 25th. Not sure how something Minted last year and was in stock when I ordered it in early Dec could be backordered now but ok. BTW, on-line, right now, it's "in stock". Not acceptable say I. Cancel the order. He checks the "system" and says ah yeah the "system" won't allow him to cancel the order. Too bad, so sad. Even better. Because I paid extra for home delivery, I won't be notified if/when it ships. It I had paid less and had it shipped to an Outlet, then I would be notified. I ended the call telling him that I would wait a week or so and then dispute the charge with my CC company. Can't imagine why Sears is having struggles in the retail world. lol

Did you notice the issue of new "100for100"?
The Horse, imo, looks somehow "seriously concentrated" Ithink, it only on the picture.
Pocket_change will be happy to buy this one. Hope everything OK with her....

Ok long post, short (I know, too late).
After several e-mail exchanges and phone calls, Sears finally reversed the charge on my cc and inexplicitly, yesterday decided that the coins were shipped two months ago and are deemed lost. Until yesterday, they have always said they were on backorder. Oddly, their solution was not to resend the 'lost' order but told me to re-order via their website. Of course, they are no longer on sale at 50% off, there is no $10 off coupon and well, the item is out of stock. lol
Anyway, yingyang, can you tell me how your coins were delivered? Were they sent to a Sears outlet for pick up, or did you have them delivered to your home? If to your home, did they come via Canada Post or a courier? Did they require a signature? I'm just trying to figure out if I should be worried about my mail 'disappearing'.
Oh and now I'm looking for 2014 baby set again...but only at a steep discount. :)

Token Sale in the CA, today, starts at 14:00 EST
Added: Btw - Colonial Acres... Paid attention, that on the other forum, some people, following purchase of someone, placed order for bullion 5oz Chinese Panda coin. But...this is purely bullion coin (round), no numismatic value at all, with large mintage and overpriced, so the people paid CAD 230 for 5oz of Silver! Can you imagine? Too bad, that the people didn't check the CA site: the Chinese Panda 1oz offered for CAD 30, hence 5oz could be purchased for CAD 150 only. On the numismatic item, yes, we overpay, but to take a loss on the bullion?

Hi Silveroid, Selling prices for different size Silver Panda Coins are not just multiply prices with oz. If 1oz Silver Panda is selling for USD$23, so 5oz Silver Panda shall sell $23 x 5oz = $115, kilo Silver Panda shall sell $23 x 32.15oz = $740. All sizes silver panda coins come with capsules ( different from other bullion coins except Perth Mint's ) but 5oz Silver Panda & kilo Silver Panda also come with cases and certificates. To me, 5oz Panda & kilo Panda shall considered as semi-numismatic coins or even numismatic coins ( true that mintage are quite high ) CAD$226 for one piece of 2015 5oz Silver Panda Coin, including shipping to Canada is quite a bargain if you check on ebay or any bullion dealer around the world. I did not grab this bargain deal simply because I am not familiar with this Chinese seller. I might order from him in future if other RFD'ers deals ran smoothly.

Not quite the same thing, the 5 oz proofs from other years are selling for $300 to $500 or so and up depending the year mintages etc etc.

So, do you see it as great deal, for collecting or resell? Collecting - yes, this is the best price for coin. But resell - the stackers and dealers will not pay for it more than silver content, right?

Panda Silver Coins are great for collection because they are so beautiful and design changes every year.
But Panda Coins are not good for reselling due to buyers worry about fake coins.
I mainly collecting coins.

Thanks for letting me know. I think my mistake was selecting home delivery. We were moved to community mail boxes last fall and have since experienced some issues we never had before with door to door delivery. Unfortunately, Sears can't even tell me how it was shipped so I don't really know if it was sent via CP or UPS but since the charge was only $7.95, I'm assuming they used CP. They really are still operating like it's the 1950s. lol They did however, leave me a recorded voice message today with a promo code for $10 off my next order. It expires in just over a month.
