I think that the lower price just shows how much discount the mint gives dealers, and how much overcharging is going on to the collector.

On the other issue, Liverpool I can't agree more. I think those coa's should have stayed with the coins. Whether coffin locked or not, it shows bad bookkeeping and laziness by Colonial Acres.

Does the same will be the destiny of "Fishing" series, or lower mintage and sub+box availability will save them from such dramatically price decrease?

Ya just another sign of the times, great for those who like the coin and care not of resale value later on. But just another nail in the coffin for those who want a coin that at the very least holds it value.

Oh well ,I hear Postage stamps are making a comeback.

Another thing to remember though is that the USA dealers are getting a extra Hugh discount because of the dollar exchange rate, they can afford to drop their prices .

If they get a 30% discount from the Mint to start with then factor in the exchange rate. Thats another 20% or more.

My math skills might be questionable so I wont add any more lol

Silvertowne is selling the 2014 1 oz Bison coins at 40% discount with free shipping !

Sadly, even with that deep discount, they are not selling. I posted those sale prices over two weeks ago in the Bison thread and yet they are still available today.

I only found a couple of items to consider but they are not worth buying when factoring in the shipping charge. Makes no sense to me to order less than $50 in items and pay $7.50 in shipping unless they are a really good deal.

I truly wish C/A would make these sales 'new'. That is stop peppering it with coins that have already been on sale for the same price but in a different 'special' sale. If it didn't sell for the price in the past, either lower the new sale price or make that your new regular price.

That could be good: or try to sell it for lower, or try to sell something else.

Full Hunters Moon coin is nice, looking good.

100% agree with you. I noticed that with todays sale, felt like I had already seen most of what they had available previously for the same prices. Saw a couple of things I was semi-interested in but after shipping and tax decided it wasn't worth it. Will have to wait and see what's available in the next sale.

Those high relief Prince Charles, Prince William, QE coins have been around for a long time on C/A sales. Seems no one is interested in them.

Some new stuff around, especially non-NCLT.
